Roper Family: Missionaries to the US Military in Italy

"Jeremiah was saved and baptized at the age of six but his family fell away from the Lord and, as he grew older, he drifted away also. Jeremiah and Erika met in high school; where the Lord was bringing two lives together for His perfect plan. Jeremiah joined the Air Force right after high school and married Erika. Erika did not grow up in a Christian home and although she had some religion, she did not know the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Eleven years into Jeremiah’s military career in 2013, the family of then four, received orders to Okinawa, Japan. They attended Maranatha Baptist Church, a Military Missions church. There, Jeremiah rededicated his life and Erika was saved and baptized. They immediately began to grow in the Lord and were involved in various ministries. In 2016, the family surrendered to full-time ministry. A few months later, Jeremiah surrendered to preach the Word of God. Just prior to their departure from Okinawa, Jeremiah was ordained into the Gospel Ministry. Their next orders were to Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. There the Lord made it clear He was calling them to Military Missions to minister to those that had been a large part of their lives for the last twenty years. All three of their children have trusted Christ as Savior, have been baptized, and surrendered their life to Him. They look forward to serving the Lord by taking the Gospel to those that serve our country in the field of Military Missions Worldwide, where He transformed their own lives." - Baptist International Missions, Inc.
